Not all of the country is covered by our clubs list. If you’re interested in forming a club, do get in touch with email@example.com and we will do what we can to find you like-minded players nearby. The people below would very much like to hear from you:
Brenda Donraffy is our most northerly player seeking opponents to date – if you’re interested in helping get a club started in Aberdeen then please do get in touch (April 2017)
Matt Hopkins and a few others are looking to turn a regular social game into something more formal and organised – anyone interested? (February 2017)
Ian McFarlane is looking for more players for a possible club in Glasgow – we know we’re thin on members in the area but there must be more players? (Nov 2016)
Stephanie Hayley is interested in meeting up with other live players, possibly to form a regular club. We’re not aware of any backgammon going on in Northern Ireland so we’d particularly like to hear from you if you’re interested! Update: there is now a Belfast club getting established; see https://www.belfastbg.com/ for more information.
Peter Alexander is looking for players in the Bury St Edmunds area. If you’re interested, please let me know and I’ll put you in touch.
Paul Taylor is looking for players in North Wales, particularly the Mold area, to get a club started. He’d be looking to arrange a schedule that would complement, not clash with, the existing clubs in north-west England. (26/4/15)
