It is now official that Monday March 12th was the final Backgammon evening at the shortly-to-be-refurbished Hippodrome Casino.
From the 30th April, and every last Monday in the month, the UKBGF are delighted to support Backgammon London, set up by Andrew Selby, and aided by some of our own, in moving to The Princess of Wales Pub, in Chalcott Road, Primrose Hill, within the heart of Camden.
With a dedicated private room, and access to all the facilities of food and drink found in all our weekday venues, we hope this will rekindle the “good old days” in Camden. The evening, from 6:30 pm to 11pm, will provide all the usual offerings of 5 and 7-point Swiss matches. As ever, entry points will range from the usual £10 and £20, plus a higher entry level should the more discerning of you so desire.
The UKBGF will assist, and are also delighted to confirm all matches will be recorded and rated within the ranking system.
It is anticipated a website will shortly be set up to provide all the information required, including a location map etc. – watch this space for confirmation once live! In the meantime, for more information please feel free to contact Andrew.
