New for 2019: Tour Sub-Committee
A new sub-committee of the UKBGF Board has been formed. It has the brief of dealing with all aspects of the UKBGF Tour. Currently the Tour Sub-Committee comprises of three members, Steve Bibby, Kevin Jones and Roger Porter. If any UKBGF members have any issues, suggestions or criticisms relating to Tour tournaments, then we encourage you to raise these directly with the sub-committee at roger@ukbgf.com.
@Ben My fault totally, I was following the paper scoresheets on Facebook and got my semi-finalists completely back to front. Now corrected!
The intermediate semi-finalists were:
Ben Owen (lost 10-13 to Christan Cozos);
Roger Porter (lost 6-13 to Alex Polden)
Richard and Simon were on the first train home!
Thanks, Steve Bibby and Kevin Jones, for an absolutely amazing and awesome weekend of Backgammon set in a superb venue. It exceeded all my expectations. The true sign of a great organiser and a great event is when you don’t notice the planning that goes into making an event run smoothly. And smooth as silk was the inaugural event.
Can I book for next year?!
Totally agree with Ben. Well done Guys! This is a great incentive to attend Tour Events. Hope to be at the next one too 🙂
