OK, so Halloween is barely over but we’re already looking forward to a backgammoning Christmas, and what better way to work off the excess turkey with a good tournament?
Worcester Backgammon Club are planning the Turkey Leftovers Tourney, a rather informal fun backgammon event over Christmas. Limited to 32 players, it’s only £10, with £2 going to a very worthy charity, Help Harry Help Others… www.hhho.org.uk. The remainder will 100% be used for prizes. There may also be a couple of side pools as well depending on interest. There will be a sponsored Charity Advent Calendar as well – and seasonal music will be entertaining annoying everyone all day!
