There’s no doubt that the UKO was a resounding success full of wizardry, repartee, world class backgammon and plenty of naked wrestling.  [Read on for more on that].  All overlooked by the soulful Suki [houndish to Senor Parfitt], with bundles of kudos to Mark, Sarah, Jules, the Jones boys, Karen and several more of their tireless staff, including the brilliant streaming from Máté Fehér, and the lavish board prizes by our kind sponsors at Artgammon.

The euphoria and despair of tournament backgammon was on show for all, as each of us darted up and down leaderboards like demented squirrels, before having to report in to the all-seeing “Calderbank-eye-in-the-sky.”  If you’re playing for half a pound of treacle, he’ll want to know about it.
