I have pleasure in submitting the 2025 report for The Brian Lever Memorial Trophy at The Bridge in Prestbury which was very well attended.

At the outset I, along with Brian’s wife, Nicky would like to thank all the many generous prize donors which included Neil Roland, a photographic artist who donated a wonderful piece of Backgammon artwork, and Scrivens the Opticians and Hearing Aid Company. The proud owner of the photographic art is Julian Minwalla who very generously donated the winning bid in the Silent Auction.

The inaugural Brian Lever Memorial tournament held in memory of Brian Lever, a very fondly missed and highly respected gentleman who was a stalwart of Backgammon in the UK. The 64 player tournament was held over two days at the very atmospheric venue of The Bridge, in the quaint village of Prestbury, and was attended on both days by Nicky, Brian’s wife and in the final stages on Sunday by their children, David and Amy.
