Venue and Hotel
After three years at the Ricoh Arena, the 2017 UK Open will be held at this stunning new venue, approximately six miles east of Coventry city centre. This historic building was originally a Cistercian abbey dating back to the 12th century and is set in 500 acres of parkland.
Update 22nd June 2017: Coombe Abbey Hotel is now completely full for the night of Saturday 2nd September. Other accommodation options are suggested on the Venue and Hotel page.
Please pre-register now to secure your spot in the 2017 UK Open. No pre-payment is required but please remember to book your hotel accommodation.
IMPORTANT – please note that, except for Beginners and Social players, registration closes at 10am on Saturday 2nd September 2017. Regardless of whether or not you have pre-registered, if you are a Masters or Advanced player you must have arrived at the venue and paid your registration fee, entry fee and any side pool money by this deadline or you will not be included in the tournament draw.
Format and Schedule
Both main flights of the 2017 UK Open – Masters and Advanced – will be full double elimination as last year. Two 1-day Swiss competitions will be held for beginners and less-experienced players (one on Saturday and one on Sunday), with no doubling cube. See Format and Schedule.
