There’s just over a month to go until the fifth UK Clubs Championship, this year being held in Bristol – home of the reigning champions… and there is still time for you to assemble a team of five and take up the challenge of bringing home the Tutchings Trophy. Full details are here and we’ll be updating the lineup as the date approaches. Clubs not already represented will have priority in booking, but while we have had plenty of interest, you’re not in it for definite until you’ve paid the entry fee, so get your entries in now! Payment details are on the event page.
So far our lineup includes:
- Bristol – holders
- Clapton
- London Players League
- St Albans – former winners
- Birmingham
- Coventry
- Worcester
There are quite a few more interested teams, and on June 1st we shall open entries to second teams which will bring at least Bristol “B” and St Albans “B” into the fold, space permitting. Individual names are not required at this stage – they will be requested no more than a fortnight in advance.
UKBGF boards will not be available, sadly, so each team should bring a minimum of three boards, plus as many precision dice as you need.
If you haven’t yet got a club local to you, do stay tuned – we will soon be announcing a scheme to help new clubs get off the ground…
London Players League are also former winners!
