We posted a Yuletide poser on the cube action for this position:

And here’s the answer…
For money the position is a huge beaver. The equity is -0.222 if you mistakenly recube for money.
Mama Bear was 5 away 5 away and it was not quite a redouble and obviously an easy take. It would be only a 0.029 error to redouble however, and if there is any chance your opponent would pass …
Papa Bear was 4 away 3 away and it was a redouble and a small pass, but only by 0.01. You are offering a dead cube for the match. Failing to redouble is an awful error.
Baby Bear was 7 away 6 away and it was a wafer thin redouble and easy take. This time only by 0.028. Passing would be a huge blunder.
A position which shows the dramatic effect of score on cube decisions.
Your positions and analyses are wonderful for backgammon but far from helping me find the meaning of life.
