The Blackpool Imperial Cup 2024
Blackpool 2024 will be bigger and better this year! Due to ongoing demand for places, as we sell out a year in advance, we have increased the attendance from 128 to 160 and we have also split the flights into Intermediates and Masters.
All of your old favourite side events are there including the Erhan Trophy, Gammoner Trophy, Saturday night triples, Four Regions challenge, poker, and new this year is the Artgammon trophy for players still looking for action on Sunday afternoon – and best of all that is another freeroll, meaning no additional entry or registration costs.

Kev Jones, Mark Calderbank and I have decided to run the Blackpool Imperial Cup this year albeit on a slightly later date – the weekend of 25th-27th June. We are confident that with the cooperation and support of players and the hotel we can make the comeback a success. We fully expect all events that usually take place will go ahead including the popular triples, poker and traditional Sunday evening curry night out. As well as our regular valued board sponsors 869-BG (Erhan) and Bone Club, we are delighted to welcome Gammoner as a new sponsor. You will be able to win one of their superb boards in the ‘Gammoner Trophy’.
2019 Blackpool Imperial Cup
First of all, we would like to thank all 128 players for making 2019 a sell-out.
Many players took advantage of the cheap Thursday night hotel rates to arrive early and miss the Friday traffic. This resulted in over 70 players being in the room at 2pm on Friday for the first of our added money Freerolls, and what proved to be the very popular cashouts (an idea we stole from Roger Porter).
